Steppin' Up

As mentioned in my previous post, this year I'm going to be participating in runs and races in order to raise support and awareness for City Mission Roanoke.

Soooo....(drumroll please), my first run is the WAZUPWIDIS Urban Stair Challenge on February 8 at 9am in Downtown Roanoke. Put on by Mountain Junkies, the run covers only 2.75 miles around town, BUT has over 660 stairs to climb in order to get from start to finish. Check out more amazingly wonderful details here.

Please partner with me by pledging in one of the ways below:

• Pledge per stair that I climb (reminder: approx 660 of those bad boys.) Just .05 per step would serve 6 breakfasts at one of our Saturday breakfast locations.
• Pledge per mile (2.75 miles around town) $15/mile would help serve 10 breakfasts during a Saturday breakfast)
• Pledge your time. Volunteer for 2.75 hours or 660 minutes on Saturday mornings down at Indian Village with me and meet some wonderful people who need your love and the love of Jesus.
