A Walk in the Woods...

Last weekend, my Mom, Dad, Aunt Cissy, Uncle Joe Clinton, and I went for a 5 mile walk through the woods of West Virginia. The trail is titled "The Potts Rail Trail" and runs along an old railroad line on Potts Mountain. It was chili out, but the sun was out and the sky was blue as ever! We had a lot of fun walking together and made some wonderful memories!

In Uncle Donnie's yard. He didn't come with us on the walk. ;-)

Sign at the beginning of the walk

In case you can't see this, it says that to call 9-1-1, you have to walk to the main road,
take a right, and then walk 14 miles to the nearest cell tower. LOL.
Ah, life in Waiteville, WV.

 Siblings!

Look at these beautiful leaves! God's creativity is amazing!

I loved the bark on this tree. Not like the others!

The sign said no horses in the woods...but, we're not sure the rules are being followed!

Sisters trying to cross a small stream...LOL.

Made it to the end! :-)
